So I’ve been coming here for 2 years and I’ve had nothing but good service, the food is good on some days they run out of certain meat. I’ve never been dissatisfied eating from here. My orders have never been messed up and what I’ll say is the food is made with love and cooked to perfection .
I thought I lost this place when they moved. So glad they just moved next door. Food is great. Really nice Jamaican atmosphere on the inside. Love the decor. Nice people from Jamaica
I ordered via DoorDash. I ordered the jerk chicken , rice and peas , Mac and cheese with collard greens and coco bread. The meat was so juicy and tender. Everything was perfectly seasoned. My picky 6yr old was asking for more greens) If you’re a sauce person order extra sauce for your meat. Everything was delicious and fresh. I was upset because I really wanted to try the oxtails and the curry goat. I will be trying again. Delicious was not a huge fan of the plantains (I love plantains), they were dry.
You will not find better Caribbean cuisine within 100 miles. Have not had a single dish that was not ultimately delicious! Don't let the location fool you because it's not on front street. Update: still the best Jamaican restaurant within 100 miles. Expanded menu, more options. I wish they were open 7 days a week!
Absolutely love this place! I found this spot yesterday and OMG! They do not disappoint. Literally everything was on point. Stew Chicken, Jerk Chicken alfredo pasta, patty and coconut bread, and the fried rice . I have a few weeks left here and I will definitely be visiting again. Felt like I was in Jamaica....in a good way. Food, drinks and atmosphere is so good!!!! Its a little busy during lunch but it means the place is good. Worth the wait.
The ox tail oozed a rich beefy flavor! The meat was so remarkably tender, it was falling off the bone and melted in my mouth. The only way to describe my robust meal is that it was fit for a king! I also paired it with the succulent callaloo rice which I had the honor to try for the first time, the cabbage which was in comparison southern soul food, and the plantains which were unsurpassed in its distinctive sweet flavor. I feel blessed to have gotten the pleasure to eat here and share some of my meal with my family!
This Jamaican restaurant is really good! The food tastes amazing—especially the jerk chicken, which is super flavorful and a little spicy, just right. The oxtails were so tender and juicy, and the rice and peas soaked up all the yummy sauce. Everything felt fresh and homemade.
